About Foothills Community Church

Foothills Community Church is located in the rolling farmland of the Spokane Valley. First established in 1904 and affiliated with Village Missions since 1951, Foothills Community Church strives to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ in a rural community. Although Foothills has grown and changed with the community, we have maintained some of our rural character and have held firm our mission. Now a body of 350 believers, we gather to worship God and strive to glorify His Name.

Worship Services are at 8:15 am and 11:00 am every Sunday morning with Sunday School and Bible studies for all ages from 9:45 to 10:45. Nursery is provided for both services. In addition to Sunday Worship, Foothills has an active youth program. We hold AWANA on Wednesday nights, and Junior and Senior High Youth Groups often meet on Sunday evenings, as well as Junior and Senior High Bible studies on Wednesday evenings. The youth groups have outreach programs of their own, providing Vacation Bible School programs to other churches and mission trips to a partner church in Mexico.

Vacation Bible School, Foothills Family Fun Festival, and our annual Harvest Festival provide opportunities not just to celebrate Christ’s presence in our body but to share His saving grace with others in the community.

Care Groups are a vital part of worship and spiritual growth and are open to all members. The bonds of Christian fellowship formed in Care Groups draw members together in support, encouragement, worship and love. Care Groups are offered at varous times and days in members’ homes, and provide a time of prayer and a variety of different Bible or topical studies.

Foothills Community Church offers spiritual support for its local members while actively supporting missionaries working around the world. This mission outreach is brought home each year during our week-long missions conference in the fall and our mini-conference for pastors in the spring. Mission outreach is also celebrated as members join with other Christian organizations on short-term missions and bring their life-changing stories home with them.
